What's different this year in South Carolina

All six South Carolina Marketplace insurers are returning for 2027, but proposed increases range from about 11% to 45% depending on the insurer, and the extra federal subsidies expired at the end of 2025. If you let your plan renew automatically last year, your 2027 bill could look very different. A 10-minute review is worth it. See the 2027 subsidy income limits.

Who I help in Lexington County

  • Self-employed people and small-business owners who buy their own coverage
  • Early retirees who aren't yet 65
  • Families whose employer plan is too expensive
  • People who lost a job or moved and qualify for a Special Enrollment Period

Before you choose a plan, I'll help you check whether your doctors and nearby hospitals, such as Lexington Medical Center and Prisma Health facilities in the Columbia area, are in the plan's network.

Medicaid in South Carolina

South Carolina has not expanded Medicaid. If your income is very low, I'll help you see whether you may qualify for Healthy Connections Medicaid instead.
